What AR15 magazines does Digital Counter for AR-15 use?

It uses Aluminum Body USGI magazines, caliber .223 / 5.56 and Lancer L5A. We have tested compatibility with the following brands: Lancer L5A, Brownells, Colt, Center Industries Corp., DH Tactical, and Tapco.

What battery life do Digital Counters and Led Advisors have?

Battery life varies with use, but under normal circumstances it should last several thousand rounds.

Are devices Waterproof?

Devices are NOT waterproof. They are resistant to splashes and light rain, but they are not submersible.

How do I clean my devices?

Clean the screen with a soft cloth. Magazines should also be cleaned every 1,000 - 1,500 shots. Keeping the magnets clean will allow the device to work properly.

Do I have to modify my firearm?

Nothing has to be modified on the firearm. The magazine is the only thing that has a changeable part, the follower.

My AR-15 Digital Counter starts counting only when there are 12 rounds in the magazine

The Digital Counter has magnetic sensors that "detect" the follower only when it fully enters the magazine. Currently, only 12 rounds go into the magazine.

What happens if my battery dies?

Batteries can be replaced in all units. On pistols they are located on the left side grip, simply remove the old battery and insert the new one. The rifle unit has two batteries (one in the wireless display screen and one in the base unit). The display screen has a screw on back that exposes the battery. The base unit has 3 screws to remove the side panel and then two more screws to remove the cover over the battery rounds.

Where can I mount my AR Display?

We suggest mounting the screen on the rifle's handguard, at a minimum distance of 7cm and a maximum of 30cm.

Will Digital Counter or LED Advisor fit my 1911 pistol with an ambidextrous safety lever?

Most 1911 with ambidextrous safety levers, need to remove the right side safety lever to properly fit this model. The left side lever will remain intact.
